The oil is suitable for inhalations in clogged sinuses, with the inception of coughing and congestion of the nasal mucosa.
It is also called Marjoram sweet, for its pleasant, sweet smell. The herb has traditionally been used as an aperitif, to reduce fever, relieve asthma and as an anti - bloating drug.
Extraction of essential oil is done by a steam distillation of leaves and flowering tops of the plant.
Effects: The oil is suitable for inhalations in clogged sinuses, coughing and nasal congestion. During massage it relieves from rheumatic pain and muscle stiffness. It will give you a sense of warmth. Warm compresses help with sore throats, swelling and sprains.
